JERSEY GARDENS KICKS OFF THE MAGICAL SEASON OF GIVING

Jersey Gardens, New Jersey’s largest outlet mall, announces its lineup of programs and services for the annual Magical Season of Giving…Sharing the Magic of the Season with our Community.
Shop for a Magical Cause – November 1-30
Jersey Gardens announces the launch of the first annual Shop for a Magical Cause, a receipt-based program to help local nonprofit organizations raise money during the busy holiday shopping season. The program runs November 1-30. Shoppers can bring mall store receipts to the Concierge Desk and turn them into points for their favorite participating charity. As a bonus, there will be weekly prize drawings for participating shoppers! At the end of the program, the top five winning nonprofit organizations will receive prize donations based upon their placement in the program.
Magical Mall Crawl – November 12
Jersey Gardens, in conjunction with the March of Dimes, presents the Magical Mall Crawl on Saturday, November 12 from 10am – 2pm. Families can make a donation to the March of Dimes and participate in mallwide family activities. For more information and to register, please contact skadel@marchofdimes.com.
Black Friday MAGICAL MIDNIGHT! – November 25
- Jersey Gardens merchants will offer door-buster savings for early shoppers on Friday, November 25th starting at 12 midnight. Over 70 stores will open at midnight for eager shoppers. Check online for early bird specials and store opening times. Black Friday sales and opening times will be posted at www.jerseygardens.com on November 21st.
- Levi’s® Outlet will host a Just Dance 3 party in Center Court from midnight to noon.
- Comcast will host an Xfinity display in Center Court all weekend.
Santa- November 10- December 24
Children are invited to visit “The Real” Santa A. Claus in his Winter Garden, lower level Center Court, now through December 24. The set features hanging snowflakes and illuminated reindeer. Photo packages are available for purchase. Hours are Monday-Saturday 10am - 9pm and Sunday 12pm - 7pm. Breaks are: Monday-Saturday 1pm-2pm and 5:15pm - 6pm; Sunday break is 2pm - 3pm. Santa visiting hours for Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24th are: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Santa and his helpers are sponsored by the Elizabeth Residence Inn.
Salvation Army Angel Tree & City-wide Toy Drive
Jersey Gardens invites shoppers to help someone less fortunate this holiday season.
- Jersey Gardens and the Salvation Army have teamed up on the annual “Angel Tree” drive. Shoppers can choose an “angel” from the tree, located beside the Concierge Desk, lower level, and purchase holiday gifts according to the wish list. All gifts should be new and unwrapped and returned to the mall by December 12th.
- The Citywide Toy Drive for Elizabeth will have a donation drop off box at the Concierge Desk. All toys should be unwrapped and dropped off by December 5th. Toys will be distributed at the annual Citywide WinterFest 2011 on Saturday, December 10th.
Promotions – November 28- December 2
Jersey Gardens and participating merchants will offer Scan and Save exclusive savings November 28-December 2. Shoppers can look for specially-marked mall posters with QR codes that can be scanned for daily discounts.
Jingle Bell Run – December 4
The Elizabeth PBA Local #4 presents the first annual Jingle Bell Run 5K on Sunday, December 4 at 8:30 am. The USATF-certified race will take place on the exterior of the mall and surrounding roads. Proceeds benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The run includes top prizes, breakfast, and giveaways! There will also be a free Santa Claus fun run following the race.
