Jersey Gardens to host 12th Annual Magical Day of Giving

Event Will Benefit over 40 Non-Profit Organizations in NJ

 Elizabeth, N.J. - Jersey Gardens, New Jersey’s largest outlet mall, is hosting its 12th annual holiday charity fundraiser, Magical Day of Giving, from 8:00 AM to 12 noon on Saturday, November 20, 2010. 

Event-goers will enjoy a morning of holiday entertainment, family fun, special shopping discounts and prizes. And as they get a head start on the holiday shopping season, shoppers will be spending for an important cause – their favorite charity. All of the proceeds from ticket sales for Magical Day of Giving go directly to the charity from which the tickets are purchased.

Over forty non-profit organizations from communities in New Jersey will benefit from the event, which features Santa Claus, Pepsi sampling, NJ 101.5’s Ray the Prize Guy and much more!

Prudential Center/New Jersey Devils mascot appearance

Sneak preview performance of John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean

Dance Innovations performance

And a very special appearance from former NY Giants running back Joe Morris

 

Door prizes will be drawn that morning, which will conclude with a grand-prize drawing for a Family Staycation featuring a two night stay at the Elizabeth Courtyard Marriott, Family-4 pack of tickets to John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean and a $500 shopping spree!  Other prizes include sporting event tickets, gift baskets and various store gift certificates.  In addition, the first 500 ticketholders at registration receive a complimentary gift bag and a free cup of coffee!

Tickets are required for admission to Magical Day of Giving and may be purchased for $5.00 from participating non-profit organizations. A listing of these charities can be found on www.jerseygardens.com.  Tickets are also available the day of the event the Registration table in Center court.  Children under 12 are admitted free with a ticket-holding adult.

“Last year, Jersey Gardens raised more than $80,000 for local charities. This year there are even greater opportunities for our customers to open their hearts with more charities participating and more stores offering deeper discounts,” said Crystal Stell, Jersey Gardens´ director of marketing.
