JERSEY GARDENS HOSTS NJ BLOOD SERVICES DRIVE

Elizabeth, NJ- Jersey Gardens will host a Presidents’ Day weekend blood drive on Saturday and Sunday, February 16-17th.  All donors will receive a pair of tickets to an upcoming New Jersey Nets basketball game.

“We are delighted to offer our customers and employees the chance to make a real life-saving difference in their community,” said Crystal Stell, Jersey Gardens Marketing Director.  In 2007, Jersey Gardens collected almost 600 units of blood.

Blood donors must be at least age 17, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good health. All donors benefit from a free mini medical exam including review of their pulse rate, blood pressure, iron count and temperature. Donors will need a photo or signature ID and knowledge of Social Security Number.  To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-933-2566 or go to www.nybloodcenter.org.  Walk-ins are welcome!
