JERSEY GARDENS CONTRIBUTES OVER $120,000

In its continuing efforts to support the community, Jersey Gardens, New Jersey’s largest outlet mall, donated over $120,000 to local nonprofit organizations in 2007.  As Jersey Gardens prepares to celebrate its ninth anniversary, plans are well underway for even more fundraising programs for local organizations.

Garden of Hope recognizes local community organizations in their efforts to raise awareness and funds for their programs.  Just a few of the participating organizations for 2007 included the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Newspapers in Education Foundation, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, and the Children’s Specialized Hospital.  $30,000 was donated to these organizations in 2007.

Through the 9th annual Magical Day of Giving program, participating nonprofits raised over $60,000 for their respective programs.  50 organizations participated by selling tickets to the holiday shopping event.  The event is a turnkey fundraiser for the organizations and allows them to retain 100% of their ticket sales.  Jersey Gardens provides the entertainment, door prizes and store discounts.

Finally, Jersey Gardens offers local community groups a unique and easy fundraiser throughout the year.  Nonprofit organizations such as schools, churches and charities sell the famous Jersey Gardens License to Shop discount books and keep 100% of the proceeds. Throughout the year, over 50 local nonprofit organizations received the discount books, generating over $30,000 for their programs.
