Ballpark Idol Contest at Jersey Gardens
JERSEY GARDENS TO HOST NEWARK BEARS BALLPARK IDOL!
Jersey Gardens, New Jersey’s largest outlet mall, will host the 2nd annual Newark Bears National Anthem Auditions on Saturday, March 6 in Center Court. Local performers will be able to try out to sing the national anthem at a Bears game during the 2004 season. Interested performers must pre-register with the Bears. The event will be held in the mall’s Center Court from 10 am to 2pm.

In addition to the Ballpark Idol tryouts, the Bears will provide fun and games for the entire family including an appearance by their mascot, Ruppert; autograph opportunities with Bears players; and the Inflatable Speed Pitch.
